| THE OFFICIAL GUIDE TO ROLEPLAY MATES
Kudos to the official mate and pups rules, made by fellow Gamemaker, Saffren: [Only admins are allowed to see this link] ________________________________________________________________________________________
PLEASE REMEMBER
► Before becoming mates in the roleplay, you must have a Gamemaker's permission. Only have your characters "pop the question" and say yes if you have one of the Gamemaker's 'okay'.
► If you are caught having a mate without permission, you will be banned from having a mate for a selective amount of time.
► Two member's characters will only become mates if each party likes the other. Meaning, the feeling must be mutual, and both must agree to becoming mates.
► You cannot simply "dump" your mate without a good reason. If you no longer want to be mates with another member's character, you must first PM a Gamemaker with why you want to do this. If the Gamemaker decides your reasons are good enough to split, you may do so, but if your reasons are poor and do not make sense, you will be denied of the split.
► The only free exception for leaving mates is if one leaves the pack or are banned/kicked. This is the one way where the bond will be broken, which also means that once you have a mate, you will not be allowed to change characters.
► Keep in mind that your characters are the ones becoming mates, not the actual people behind the characters. It's just roleplay, not real life! WHAT TO DO
► Your character can like/have a crush on anyone they wish, as long as that character is the opposite gender and already without a mate.
► The character your character crushes on might not return the feeling, so always remember to keep an open mind and not to take things too seriously.
► If the feeling is returned, you can wait as long as you want to actually become mates. You don't have to become mates right away.
► Once you decide to have your characters become mates, you must message/contact a Gamemaker before doing anything in the roleplay. Just send one of them a quick PM asking if your two characters can become mates, and only if they say yes can you proceed to ask your character's crush to become mates/say yes to the question in the roleplay.
► In the case that you no longer wish for your character to become mates with another, you may freely drop the crush. However, if you do not wish stay as mates with somebody else's character after already becoming mates, you must PM a Gamemaker for permission to leave them. Keep in mind that the answer may be yes or no, depending on how good your reasons are, so be careful with who you choose as your character's mate!
► Feel free to flaunt off your crush/and or mate's name all you want on your profile and character's biography. Have fun with it! WHAT NOT TO DO
► Never become mates before asking a Gamemaker. Also, always keep from asking the character in roleplay to become your character's mate without any permission.
► Do not harass another’s character to be your character's mate/like your character.
► If another person’s character doesn’t like yours, instead of bugging them about it, leave them alone and move on. There will most likely be someone else who will eventually like your character, so keep searching.
► You character can only be mates with another character of the opposite sex, and only if that character is single. Trying to be mates with a character who already has a mate can get you into trouble.
► Don't make your character desperate to find a mate, which means not having your character flirt with/try to become mates with every other character of the opposite sex.
► Keep from taking things too far in the roleplay. Remember that this site is family-friendly, and anything too graphic/detailed will cause you a warning. ________________________________________________________________________________________
