ACTING YOUR RANK IN ROLEPLAY
Properly acting your rank within the roleplay topics is considered to be very important, and you can actually be warned for not doing your rank's job in the roleplay. Therefore, it is also important for you to know exactly how to do your rank, and also how to do it right.

PICK YOUR RANK
First off, know which rank is right for you. If you sign up to the pack with a particular rank, but feel later on that a different rank would suit both you and your character better, don't hesitate to change your desired rank in the "Rank Wanted" section of your profile. That way, a Gamemaker will see which rank you prefer to switch to and if the circumstances are right, they will put you in that rank. Being able to do the rank you're put in is what's most important, so don't sign your character up with a rank that you don't have the requirements to roleplay with. There are lots of ranks to choose from, each different from the next, so be sure to carefully go through each one before selecting which one fits you and your character best.
KNOW YOUR RANK
Once you have a rank that you feel comfortable with and have no problems with, you will need to learn all about that rank and how to roleplay it properly. Keep in mind what the general description of your rank tells you (for example, the Career rank involves having to fight for and defend the pack, which means your character will need to actively search the territory for possible threats and fight off any dangers without hesitation). It is highly recommended that you completely understand your rank's description (if you don't and have questions, don't hesitate to PM a Gamemaker about it!), therefore, you will have a better knowledge of what your rank involves and how to go about using it in the roleplay.
BE ACTIVE WITH USING YOUR RANK
Just having a rank and knowing what to do with it doesn't make the cut, unfortunately. You will actually need to use your rank regularly in the roleplay, but now that you (hopefully) know how to roleplay your rank the right way, you shouldn't have any troubles with actually doing this. You will need to roleplay your rank at least a few times every week, and you will be notified by either the lead of your rank or a Gamemaker if you are not doing your job. You don't have to constantly be doing your rank, but if you are seen not doing your rank in a week or more, you may be contacted about it, especially as more time goes on. DiA's are of course an exception. Also keep in mind that your character is only expected and allowed to do their own rank, so they can't take on the role of another rank (such as a Rebel taking on a Medic's job to an extreme level or professionalism).
