She gave an irritable glance at the wolf (Saffren), "Your full name, you look oddly familiar." she confessed slowly, turning her head with a slightly amused expression,
"Rye. I'm afraid its a bit of a mouthful." (Rogue)

He smiled slightly "Nice to meet you, Rye. My name is Rouge, it means red supposedly." he grunted, looking at his red-brown fur. Rouge looked at the other female and he jus sat and watched, this looked like a pack.

"I suppose the name is fitting then," she smiled, flicking an ear slightly.
She turned her head slightly to the left, peering at the others for a moment.
There was a great number of wolves here, Saf, Grim, Rogue, and another male and female who's names she did not know.

Saffren glanced at the canines around her. She sighed realizing that the wolf really did want to know her name. When the female finally introduced herself to the male that had just entered. Rye hmm? That name indeed was part of a memory lost in the back of her mind. "You do look familiar" she admits.

More wolves had gathered. Was this a pack? It seemed that there were two brown female wolves, and two male wolves. Their names had been uttered, and Lanx had caught the names Grimthorne and Rouge. "I'm Lanx," he muttered, stepping up with his chest puffed out, looking at the wolves with haunting eyes, "is this land already claimed by another pack?"

"As do you. I'm Rye. Pleasure to meet you."
She had little to say, she was sitting in front of Rogue, scrutinizing Saffren with a certain degree of intensity.
"I've smelled nothing." (Lanx) "It seems its unclaimed."

Rouge was watching the others and not really saying anything. He blinked his different coloured eyes "Is... this a pack?" the large male asked.

A large figure lurked through the trees surrounding the clearing of the ruins, concealed by the foliage and shadows of the brush and towering trunks. The scents and voices of others could be heard in the opening in the forest, and Harlow found a space in the woods where she could peer out and investigate what was going on. Still hidden by the low lying bushes, the female peered ahead with one seeing eye at the other wolves in the area. She didn't know who any of them were, at least from her distance, and she could see some of them conversing, causing her to idly wonder if anybody else were acquainted with each other. Flicking her tail, Harlow continued to watch the others, ears pointed forward as she listened.

Saffren glanced at the canines that spoke of a pack. The brown and black male wolf looked strikingly familiar too and it was annoying her that she could not remember. There was something about him and that female Rye.
"Seems like it is now" she said finally without much of a second thought. Why not stay here? There was nothing much else beyond this place. Saffren paused as a slight breeze brough the scent of a new figure nearby. Her lips threaten to pull back in a snarl as she turns around slowly and glares at the dozens of trees around them.

Rouge watched the females and the male wolf without saying anything, he felt like he was being watched, as well as the others, which made his ears go upright and his tail twitched. His different coloured eyes glittered slightly.

Grimthorne's ears perked slightly as the wolves around him spoke about a pack. He hadn't realized the amount of wolves that had come to this area but now as his bright blue optics glanced around he was suddenly shocked that he was still here. Grim wasn't a wolf who liked to socialize, he would rather keep to himself and the fact that so many wolves were here slightly frightened the male. Sighing he thought about leaving, slipping away unheard or seen but decided against it, the thought of air burning his lungs as he breathed in, struggling to catch his breath and his sore joints. A shiver ran through his spine, he would stay if these wolves became a pack, if they accepted him.

Harlow cursed under her breath as a sudden change in the wind direction went against her back, bringing her scent directly to the clearing where the other words were. To make things worse, she seemed to have been detected, especially by another female who suddenly took a defensive stance. Snorting, figuring hiding would no longer be a term to describe her position, Harlow stepped out in the open, her face emotionless as she stared ahead at two wolves in particular, a reddish-brown male and the female that had scented her. She said nothing and only moved forward, then stopped some feet away from the pair, her good eye scanning over them, absorbing every inch of their individual appearances.

He turned his head around quickly as he heard pawsteps, he saw yet another female wolf. He blinked and one of his ears went back "Hello?" he said slowly, tilting his large head and flicking his tail.

Saffren's red eyes watched the new female's movements carefully. So she wasn't one of those large savage mutts but she still didn't let her guard down. The pelt color seemed to remind her of someone just like the other two wolves had. It was indeed strange how she felt like she had defidently seen them before. Saffren noticed the wolf's one sightless silver eye. That did not ring a bell.
"Who might you be?" Saffren found herself asking.

A whistle escaped through his nose, it could be thought of as a whine. If anymore wolves came, Grim might just leave. The canid knew he would have to get used to socializing more, if this was a pack, from what hes experienced from his time in packs from before they communicated a lot. Seeing as the wolf didn't directly approach him Grimthorne stayed silent, and he planned on staying this way until spoken to directly.

"So are we a pack then?" Lanx mused, his ears folding backwards in thought. It wouldn't be a bad idea; with all the rouge animals out there, it was always good to move in numbers. Plus, he generally thought that wolves did well together in large groups - it was easier to hunt, live, and protect oneself when others were around. "And it's nice to meet you all," he added quietly with a flick of his tawny tail.

Harlow's gaze had settled on the female, though she wasn't quite sure why. Her general appearance had sparked a memory inside her, but she shrugged it off. It isn't possible that this wolf was somebody she had met before. This encounter with others was actually one of the very few she'd had since she left home, and she would have immediately known if it was somebody she had met on her travels. But still, her pelt color and the arrangement of its markings kept catching Harlow's eye as strikingly familiar. She listened briefly to each wolf's short response to seeing her approach before speaking herself. "Greetings. I am Harlow," she replied simply, her voice sounding rather monotone and flat, as usual. She also never hesitated to introduce herself when meeting somebody new, not because she was naturally friendly, but simply because she didn't care who knew her basic information.

'Harlow hm?' Saffren thought with a silent huff. Why were these canines so familiar. She looks at the male wolf who had then spoken. She had indeed caught his name, Lanx.
"Indeed, it seems like we are" Saffren said finally. "And if you must know my name is Saffren" she said with a glance at Rye who had wanted to know her name.

Rouge blinked "Nice to meet you all, my name is Rouge, jus a random wolf who has no clue how he got here." he said with a huge yawn. The large wolf lay down and relaxed, his ears perked up in interest at their mention of a pack.

Harlow shifted her impaired gaze to another male whom she didn't notice before, and was taken back with his level of familiarity as well. 'What's going on here?' she questioned to herself, thoroughly confused about recognizing these canines. She pinned it down to that she must have seen them before, but something in the back of her mind went against this conclusion, especially after hearing the female's name. Blinking, she now listened to their talk of a pack, and was satisfied that she'd come at the time of its creation. She needed a good pack, and this bunch of wolves seemed worthy of making one with. Instead of replying any further, she simply looked from each face as they spoke, taking in the information but having nothing to add.

He felt sure of himself, now that he knew the names of those who surrounded him. Lanx studied the faces, matching names with their owners, and his eyes settled on Grimthorne, who was sitting quite dejectedly on the edge of the small circle. "Everything ok?" he asked warily, tilting his ears forward with a slight frown.

Hearing someone speak to him more directly made him turn his head to see who it was. He nodded slightly in answer to his question "I'm just not that good at socializing." His reply sounded weird as it rolled off of his tongue and out of his mouth, he had lived on his own for most of his life, and when he did have a pack he of coarse was friendly and socialized until they turned on him. Grimthorne had made a silent vow to himself not to trust anyone again, but it seemed he was going to end up trusting these wolves anyways.

Saffren sat back at an angle so all of the wolves were in her view. She didn't trust them 100% yet but it was indeed annoying that she felt like she knew three of them. When would she have seen these wolves? The only canine she had really talked to over her years of traveling had been Fehu.

"Ah," he responded, his stormy eyes flickering with understanding. He, too, had once been an unsocial wolf - words had not come easily to him, but over time he had developed his tounge and trained himself to be in the group. "I'm sure it will get easier over time," Lanx stated plainly, "if we do become a pack."

Silently the creature moved from one patch of darkness to another, her fiery orange eyes never missing a thing as it continued to skirt the ring of voices as it observed the other wolves unnoticed by all. She had been watching these wolves for sometime now, analyzing their every move, learning as much as she could about each canine before approaching the group. The female had been wandering around the area for some time now never revealing herself to any wolf she so happened to come across, choosing to observe rather then socialize.

But now it was time to change that, like a spirit risen from the grave the dark colored wolf emerged from the shadows. Her body language exuding a calm confidence that silently demanding one's attention without loudly declaring her leadership or challenging the dominance of the wolves who seemed to be trying to create this pack. Stopping several yards away from the group of wolves the female sat, waiting for the others to take notice or choose to ignore her.
